ECU South West Student Village

The Student Village at ECU South West Campus (Bunbury) was completed in 2002. The complex combines the benefits of proximity to campus building and resources with a state of the art living environment. The modern facility makes students feel more like they are at home than on campus.

The Student Village Application Form and Information Sheet are available for download online.

The facility offers apartment-style living. Each unit has six bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each student shares bathroom facilities with only one other student.

There is a common living area featuring balconies overlooking a beautiful bushland setting. The common-area open plan kitchen has ample storage facilities, including two large refrigerator/freezers. The kitchen, dining, and living area are all open plan, which encourages a social environment. The dining/living area has couches, a dining set which seats six, and coffee table.

Each bedroom in the unit is supplied with a single bed frame and mattress, built in wardrobe and study area. The study area includes a student desk, chair, shelving, power points, telephone port and ethernet port.

There is a common BBQ area and laundry facility in the complex.

Below please find a floor plan of one of the units, along with our Student Village Office contact details and a list of frequently asked questions about student housing. All undergraduate students are housed in six bedroom units. Postgraduate students may be eligible for housing in one of the postgraduate units in the housing complex.

Applications for student housing are accepted throughout the year, and you may apply for a place in student housing before you are offered a place at the university. Housing is not available for students studying externally or part-time.
