FREE PUBLIC LECTURE: DEALING WITH ADDICTION<<Everyone Welcome Data on alcohol and other drug-related harm in Australia, Western Australia and the South West of Western Australia will be used to illustrate the types of harm and the health, social and other costs that arise. Dr David Ryder is a Senior Lecturer at ECU. He coordinates and teaches in the Addiction Studies Program. His research interests are in comorbid mental health and substance use disorders, alcohol and cigarette use amongst Culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations and the effects of education on attitudes towards alcohol and other drug policies. He has worked with adult mental health and substance use programs, with the Alcohol and Drug Authority and as a Clinical Psychologist.
