Student Sustainability Group
A teaching/learning and research project titled: Transition to Sustainability: ECU South West will be implemented on our campus this year. The idea is to reorient curriculum, teaching and learning to sustainability; and research the process we use to constantly improve it. As part of this project, a number of activities will be scheduled for students. A Student Sustainability Group will be a core part of the project, to advise the researchers and participate in data collection. A participatory action research approach will be used to guide the whole project as well as the Student Sustainability Group component. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain valuable experience in research and sustainability, and it would look excellent on your CV – whatever profession you intend to take up after graduation. If you are interested in participating in this group, please email s.wooltorton@ecu.edu.au. We plan to hold the first meeting in about three weeks at a time that suits as many group members as possible.
