TERMS OF REFERENCE
It was agreed that the terms of reference for this committee be as follows:

1.         Develop and review the Faculty’s Research and Higher Degrees Management Plan and establish research priorities in the Faculty.

2.         Review all Faculty funded research proposals and allocate resources for the Faculty’s Research and Higher Degrees Program.

3.         Establish and review Faculty policy on procedures for Honours, Masters and Doctoral degree candidates.

4.         Advise the University Research and Higher Degrees committee and Faculty Board of Research and Higher Degrees activities.

5.         Receive reports concerning Faculty research centres, postdoctoral scholars, visiting scholars and staff in Faculty funded research positions.

6.         To disseminate information and act as a conduit between the CSRF and the
Faculty.
