The renowned ECU Surf Challenge is to be conducted at Yallingup Main Break for the second consecutive year. It is "shaping up" to be an awesome event. The Surf Science students have been working around the clock to finalise arrangements in anticipation for the event, scheduled to be held on either Saturday May 26th or Sunday May 27th, depending on the conditions.

The move south to Yallingup's famous waves has encouraged quality, local surfers to participate in this exciting competition. 2007 will be the fifth year that we have organised the Surf Challenge.

The ECU Surf Challenge is again proudly presented by Caves Realty Yallingup. Generous support is again this year warmly welcomed from Evolution Surf, Creatures of Leisure and Rusty with Easy Rider as a first year sponsor.

This year we are particularly encouraging the "local ladies" to take part on the day, with more girls hitting the water and busting out big moves, women's surfing has taken a radical face lift.
