Staff in the Surf Science Program

Jaro Audy specialises in teaching materials units in the program, along with advanced maths and manufacturing.

Rob Holt delivers lectures on environmental science, waves, tides and beaches and coordinated the surf camps.

Mike McAullife has been both an international surf champion and a coach of surfing teams which have won in international competitions. Mike lectures in the surf performance units.

Mike's surf-related accomplishments include:

- 35 years surfing

- 20 years competing

- 3 Australian titles

- 1 international title

- Represented Australia on 5 occasions, twice as captain

- 14 years in event management (contest director of the margaret river pro for the last 4 years)

- Judging at international level

- 15 years coaching at club, state and national level, including assistant coach of the victorious Australian team at the recent 2006 world championships.
