Short Professional Biography:
Rob has worked as a science and mathematics teacher at Mazenod College, Trinity College, MacKillop College, St Joseph College and St Norbert College in Western Australia. He spent two years in north Queensland involved with coral research and interpretive education work on the Great Barrier Reef via Mission Beach and Airlie Beach. Recently, Rob was employed by the Department of Conservation in the southern forests at Walpole. Rob is currently the BSc program coordinator at the south west campus of Edith Cowan University. He has been involved with the Surf Science course since the inaugural year of operation in 2002 lecturing in oceanography, meteorology, marine biology and surf related units of study.

Extra curricular Activities:
Rob loves surfing, skiing and Australian Rules Football. He has travelled to Europe, New Zealand, the Maldives and Indonesia chasing the snow and the swell. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends on his property in Denmark in the south west of Australia where he breeds Angus cattle.
